Of course, you can get really lucky with your pulls and can get top tier Champions from the free shards. However, most of the time, you will not get anything special and it’s true.
If you feel like you are very unlucky and want to put some money into the game, it is totally okay. However, do not expect too much since the drop rate of those top tier Champions is extremely low.
The Starter Pack is a decent purchase.
The other great offer you can purchase is the Legendary books. You will get this offer once you have unlocked your first Legendary Champion. If you miss it, no worries, it will come back soon as the Wildcard offers. Get them whenever you can because you will not see them anymore in the late game.
In case you want to speed up the game progression, get the Gem Packs so you can get more Energy and Double XP badge.
But, remember that the game is endless so you don’t have to push so hard. Instead, chill out.
If you are lucky enough to pull out a top tier Champion from the shards, invest your Gems to max it out as fast as you can. This could speed up your game progress by a lot.
