Opardin Clanfather Fusion Guide

This is a complete guide to finishing the Opardin Clanfather fusion event as a free-to-play players. Here, we are giving you the most important tips you must know to get all of the Opardin Clanfather fragments.

Since this is going to be an Epic Fusion event, understand that while power levels will obviously be lower the real test is utility and potential for future use. We will answer these questions today.

First, let’s take a look at the fusion event calendar:

Opardin Clanfather

Opardin Clanfather Event Cost

Looks like they decided to keep the 115 Fragments Structure. That is a bit of a disappointment. Prepare to go deep in your Shard/Fusion Pool for this Fusion if you decide to participate.

Pay Wall:

  • Champ Chase T (01/21-01/24) 20
  • Summon Rush E (01/28-01/31) 20
  • 5 Bonus Fragments for 1st or 2nd Place Finish in Tournaments

Pay Wall is all about Shards.

You want Sacreds(500 pts)/Voids(120 pts) for Summon Rush and Summoning saved up Fragment Fusions for Champ Chase.

Mystery Shards is always the first option but will usually fill in the gaps in points. You will need 25 Fragments from Summon Events to Fuse Opardin. That is a steep increase from recent Fragment Fusions that would typically ask 5-15 Fragments from Summon Events. Expect to accumulate between 4000-5000 pts to complete this Event.

I would probably go harder on Champ Chase since we have 2x Ancients Event that weekend and we can use points from other Summons and get the 20 there and then get the minimum from Summon Rush to get to our 25 Fragments.

Energy Wall:

  • Champion Training E (01/17-01/21) 10
  • Dungeon Divers I E (01/19-01/22) 5
  • Dungeon Divers II E (01/24-01/27) 5
  • Dungeon Divers III E (01/29-02/02) 5
  • Artifact Enhancement I E (01/18-01/21) 5
  • Artifact Enhancement II E (01/25-01/28) 5
  • Artifact Enhancement III E (01/30-02/02) 5
  • Champion Training T (01/24-01/28) 5

Dungeon Divers is the real pain here. Always play when you can play and try to avoid having “must play” days because Real Life can be hard to Predict. Champion Training is gonna happen twice for this Fusion Event. Artifact Enhancement will just use Silver from all your Dungeon and Campaign Runs.

Progression Wall:

  • Spiders T (01/17-01/20) 5
  • Dragons T (01/20-23) 5
  • Fire Knights T (01/24-01/27) 5
  • Ice Golem T (01/27-01/30) 5
  • Aena T I (01/21-01/24) 5
  • Aena T I (01/29-02/01) 5

You will need to be able to Farm at least Stage 11-16 Dungeons (11 is more efficient but drops on 13 are better) to even participate here.

Stage 20 in any Dungeon will mean a huge Energy Discount and if you are good at using your Energy you could getaway with just your Daily Energy Gains and even more so now with Advanced Quests.

Less progression here mean more Energy per Tournament to get your 5 Fragments.

Arena will need a decent Win Rate in at least Silver to go without Gemming more Tokens.

Fusion Plan

There is no way around the Shard requirements for this Fusion Event and you will have to ask yourself a fundamental question of: can you come up with 4000-5000 pts to Fuse Opardin?

If the answer is no, feel free to still try for Fragments as they might give us more Fragments somewhere down the line to finish him off.

Skipping is perfectly viable as well to keep your powder dry for the next one. Just be sure you Diamond Hand those Shards to sustain going for every Fusion they give us from here or at least be able to afford a truly gamechaning Champ like Underpriest Brogni or Demytha where they will ask for 5500 pts or more to get.

Opardin Clanfather Skills

Fusion Champ Value

Opardin Clanfather is a HP Based Carry Champ with tons of Healing and some scalable Turn Meter Boosts.

He is kind of like a Legendary Upgrade to Apothecary or a lesser guaranteed Version of Bad El Kazar.

A1 is a 2 Hit Inc/Dec Tur Meter tops out at 75% Chance which is not great honestly. A1 is also the only Skill you will want Accuracy on so skimping on Accuracy for more HP and Speed is the best way tot go.

A2 is an AoE Attack/Heal with Average Multipliers but the Heal Scales with his HP and also grants a Bonus for having Continuous Heal on.

The A3 will put 2 Continuous Heal on the Team while also taking away Block Buffs, Heal Reduction and 1 Random Debuff.

Passive will give Turn Meter Boosts for Allies that have Continous Heal Trigger. Combining TM Boosts, Instant Heal and Multi-hit A1 with an AoE means Opardin will be a strict upgrade to Apothecary though keep in mind he will want Legendary Books over the Rare Books Apothecary uses. Multiple Continuous Heal Buffs with a much smaller Cleanse means Opardin can be close to what Bad-El Kazar will give you in Clan Boss Fights granting that Speed Tuning will be hard to do with erratic TM Boosting in his Kit.
